| Description | : | Lystra, was the home of Timothy, and one of the cities on Paul's first missionary journy recounted in Acts 14:8-23. Paul was eventually stoned in Lystra and left for dead outside the city but, "As the believers stood around him, he got up and went back into the city (Acts 14:20). After going to Derbe, Paul and Barnabas came back to Lystra to strengthen the believers, appointed elders and prayer for them |
